Rome: Wait a minute, "Holy Roman Empire"? You named your youngest son after me? That's so sweet. Germania: ... SHADDUP IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU! *denial*
I saw Germania's character design for the first time the other day and almost died laughing at how much he looks like a Tolkien she-elf.
His character profile also says he's in a "relationship gone bad" with Rome (apparently it can also mean "rotten marriage"), and so I couldn't help drawing this little family portrait.b And those are not even all their "kids"...
Left -> right: young France, baby S.Italy, Rome, baby N.Italy, Germania, baby HRE and young Prussia (okay, more Teutonic Knights at this point).
Rome is the only one who can wear skirts and look manly doing so.

*squeeeee* Oh my god, so adorable! *huggles Furansu-nii* They all look so amazing, and the faces! (He DOES look like something out of Tolkienverse, dun 'e!! @__@)

I don't have a problem with canon, non-canon, straight, gay or any other of that nonsense. I have a problem with incest but as long as it isn't real life & it is drawn well I will pretend that they're not related for the sake of a job well done. Love wins
Hetalia is the best. When I first saw Germania here, I thought that too. I like how you drew the utter innocence of N. Italy and the mischievous/bratty Prussia. Too cute.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
