And truthfully, I find USA's premise there a bit suspect. Sure all the other nations of the world have these centuries of history behind them, but the current constitutional form of the US govt has endured for two and a quarter centuries. How many other nations can say that? France and Russia both had great uprisings. The other monarchies across Europe either fell or were made subservient to their parliaments. Asian Empires have risen and fallen.
Seriously, in a way isn't the US the oldest country in the world?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
