USA and UK from Hetalia, the bit of dialogue shamelessly stolen and slightly altered from Oscar Wilde's play "A Woman of No Importance".

Given how old the play is, I should have altered it to say "it has been going on now for four hundred years", but who's counting. :D

A very nice analogy.

And truthfully, I find USA's premise there a bit suspect. Sure all the other nations of the world have these centuries of history behind them, but the current constitutional form of the US govt has endured for two and a quarter centuries. How many other nations can say that? France and Russia both had great uprisings. The other monarchies across Europe either fell or were made subservient to their parliaments. Asian Empires have risen and fallen.

Seriously, in a way isn't the US the oldest country in the world?

Yep, compared to other countries, the US really are young. And they keep bragging about it. <.< I find it annoying at times. Still, this picture is very cute, and I love how you used the dialogue from Oscar Wilde! X3
