I have been itching to draw the season 3 designs for a while now, and so, in face of the Maiko news, a little get-well fanart for the mourning Zutara fandom. ^^;

I worked all day on this while reading discussions/reactions to the season 3 trailer ([link]) on various forums and communities, and I have two things to say about the shipping wank going on:

To immature Zutarians: Get over it. Remember that Zutara has always been a fandom coupling. Just because something else may be canon, be it Kataang or Maiko, doesn't make it any less smexy and awesome. ^__~

To immature non- Zutarians: Shut up with the malicious gloating. Being rightfully happy about Maiko is one thing, but bashing Zutara and its fans is another.

... and if we all do that, then we can play peacefully together in our sand box and await the SUPREME AWESOMENESS that is season 3 of Avatar. :heart:

Loving your picture of Katara - and Zuko's pretty good to. ;) Nice job. And I'm a neutral - used to be a fiery Zutarian but I can see both Zutara and Maiko working. I'm flexible. 8)
